All forms of modern currency highlight mankind's ability to present value based solely on trust while blockchain now demonstrates its ingenuity to create things that may never be struck out of perpetuity. In order to direct necessary focus on environmental considerations, discussions about the longevity of this very trust now shifting from institutions and on to a virtual ledger shall be left to those who have yet to see beyond the powerful but potentially divisive patterns of capitalism and consumerism. 

On its own, nature simplifies. If something can be produced or consumed outside the digital realm, then ways to clean it are discoverable, and human imagination will be the single most important variable.
